Photojournalism: Telling the Story in Pictures$349.00
Whether you travel the world with your camera or simply explore your own home town or neighborhood, visual stories are everywhere. In this exciting online photography course you'll learn to identify visual stories with impact, investigate them thoroughly with your camera and edit your work into a visual narrative that both informs and entertains. Taking your story a step further, you'll learn to package your photography for presentation on photojournalism internet sites and for submission to media editors. This interactive course will mentor you and your story of choice, each and every step of the way.
What you will need:
- DSLR Camera or film camera with manual mode capability (If shooting film, you will need access to a scanner in order to digitize your work for upload to the TCI website)
- Selection of lenses ranging from wide-angle to telephoto
- Computer with photo-processing software (e.g. Photoshop)
- A light but study tripod would be beneficial
- An unyielding curiosity about the world around you
