David Bowen

David Bowen first began photographing electronic music at U.K. free-parties during the mid to late 90´s. He soon began to gain international commissions from high quality magazines, record labels and promoters in Europe and the U.S..

After more than 12 years he has covered many hundreds of U.K. gigs and festivals - around 60 internationally, spanning more than 20 countries and every genre of music from Rock to Punk, Electronic and even Classical.

Photographing bands, DJ´s and sometimes full orchestras, his work has appeared around the world on album covers, in high quality magazines and within festival programs, national newspapers and on the web. Publications include magazines such as URB, XLR8R and DJ Magazine and national newspapers have included The Guardian, The Observer and The Independent.

Past clients for music photography have included Redbull, Warp Records, Sony / Columbia, Big Chill Records, 20/20 Records, Renaissance Records, The London Symphonietta, Disney Radio, and many commissions have come from event promoters themselves.
