Laura Peischl studied German Studies and Psychology at the University of Vienna, Austria, earning a master's degree.
Thereafter, she work as a translator / interpreter for different private companies and translation agencies, as well as for international organizations (UN, IAEA and other European institutions).
In 2004, Laura moved with her family from Vienna to Malta. She began making photographs with her iPhone 3 in 2009 and enjoys it immensely, until this day.
Her work has been featured on leading iPhoneography internet websites, has won numerous international competitions and has been exhibited on the the most prestigous blogs dedicated to iPhoneography art. Laura's photographs have been exhibited recently at OCCCA in Orange County, California. U.S.A., Artsy Gallery in Los Angeles and as a solo exhibition in Valletta, Malta. Along with an international group of renowned iPhoneographers, Laura is currently showing a collection of 15 photographs, as part of a revolving digital exhibition at studio b. in Alys Beach, Florida.
When not creating with her iPhone, Laura runs a public relations, marketing, event management and production agency in Malta. She is also a student at the New York Institute of Photography.
