Gina Genis is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in N.Y., and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, L.A. She leads the Gina Genis Photography Workshops where she shares the secret techniques of the pros with students from all over the country. She also teaches online photography courses through The Compelling Image.
Gina has had her photography featured on CNN, CBS, NBC, and numerous television stations across the US. She regularly exhibits her work in museums and galleries across the U.S. She curated "Wide Angle View", an exhibit of 16 international award-winning photojournalists at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, and finished six weeks as an Artist-In-Residence at the Huntington Beach Art Center in 2011. She is included in the permanent collections of the Sackner Archive of Concrete and Visual Poetry, the Otto G. Richter Library Special Collections Division of the University of Miami, Orange County Transit District, and IBM, and the Hard Rock Casino among others. Publications include Outdoor Photographer's web edition, Adorama's Imaging Resource Center, Idyllwild Life Magazine, and the Idyllwild Visitor's guide and more.
