Course Brief :
Concentrating on a single element in the frame was something we all did when starting out in photography. We focused on our dog, a friend, one of our family members. That's all that really drew our eye and the rest was - well, just there. As a result, a lot of that 35mm frame space went unused, when it could have been put to good use supporting the subject and tranforming an ordinary "snappy" into something special. That's what this short-course is all about - getting you to think and compose full-frame.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Compose for "logic within the frame," where background elements support the subject of your photograph
- Create images that not only highlight your subjects, but tell a story in just one frame
- Blend "style" and "content" that speak to your creative vision
What you will need:
- Digital SLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone
- Computer with photo-processing software (e.g. Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Self-motivation to get the most from this instructor-interactive course
